I suppose If I could have one wish in regards to US history, that wish would be for history to become an effort towards truth, instead of what it is today, a sociopolitical weapon.
Fascinating . I had ancestors in the civil war . I’ve often wondered about inherited curses on my mother line arising from this . My great great grandfather was a pastor and some kind of captain in the civil war. He wrote a fire and brimstone novel called A Confederate Spy https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/52189392/robert_haskins-crozier
There are huge unresolved issues that derive from the US Civil War.
No one here wants to face this, because for one, it destroys the rather stupid narrative that the good guys won.
On the personal level, there never was anything close to setting the entire experience to rest. I have come across books that perhaps make note of this. They will at times attempt to document the Ghosts who owed their origin to this unresolved conflict. They come close to realization, and then quickly back off.
Modern America is incapable of coming to terms. We have billionaire funded movements that deface symbol, meaning, and history. Fantasy rage at a fictional past. More blame and idiotic virtue signalling.
The men in this piece who charged across the big river are now painted as demons in a shallow abrahamic morality play.
I didn't directly cover curses in this piece, although they definitely are an area that resonates with lineage. Its very strange, this whole thing with curses because the worst ones involve the Otherworld. Perhaps you are considering them as a topic?
If you did find this piece worthy I ask you to like it. I don't get many likes, but I do enjoy them.
Very interested to know more about this - and why . My ancestors fought in the civil war . I believe it tainted and cursed their descendants . My mother line via Texas / Alabama is riddled with abuse , mental illness and indeed my mother had her leg amputated / some ghost got her . Some curse .
This will require another piece, as there are many different kinds of curses.
That said, I can offer some quick observations.
First, at least some curses are actually from ghosts. Where it is the ghost that provides the ready made identity, which is the face we all have in dealing with the "objective" world. Some ghosts are incompatible with the person. They drive the person into destructive and negative behaviour. Often this behavior is incomprehensible, without obvious logic or reason.
We also must recognize that susceptibility has a wider complement. The Confederacy, and by extension anyone who lived within its borders, was and is even today reviled and marginalized. I can cite dozens of examples, from modern music to casual opinion, social engineering movements and vapid stilted history. This condition has improved in some ways, gotten worse in others, but the notion that there is some form of regional culpability continues. This certainly creates a climate where inner harmony is harder to achieve.
When it comes to generational curses, they actually exist as phenomena in the Otherworld. The Otherworld is outside of time, so any influence rooted there isn't curtailed by incarnate conditions. The curse itself must be dealt with at the root.
This can be a very difficult thing to do.
There are even other curses, which arrive due to life-challenges set out before birth, and have nothing to do with any of the previous. So, as one can immediately realize, correct diagnosis is crucial.
I hope this clarifies matters, and perhaps offers some possibility towards relief.

I hope the readers are ready for this one.
Thanx Jack.
This might be the best thing you've written here, in my opinion. Great piece. Thanks, Mike.
Thank you, Mr M.
