Indeed, duckman, the Cosmos is first and foremost a mystery, a nexus of so much more than our tiny consciousness can hold at any moment. We can view this in myriad ways, from deep study to paying no attention at all.
However, each one of us is born with destiny. In the ancient way of understanding this destiny was what one hangs their life on, like a coat hanger for a suit of clothes. Personally speaking, I find that this spark of destiny is actually the key to living in accord with higher power.
I wish I could say that this act of becoming congruent with one's direction was easy, or simple, or straightforward. I wish I could say that, but the truth is that our paths to the discovery of this condition are so fraught with pain, loss, and difficulty that we forget our truth.
So, we need to remember that such destiny is very real, that it isn't determined by us, and that our expressions of it are always delicate and beautiful. That way, when we arrive at even a taste of it, we know it, recognize it, and honour it.
When we do this the mystery only deepens, but our place in it is somehow just right.
