I can say that for months I didn't get any new subscribers, but I did loose them. I chalked it up to my less-than-mainstream views on well, just about everything. Most people want to be with what they agree with, its just human nature. I have never removed a single subscriber. I don't have to, the subscribers themselves, and the powers that be, with their bottomless generosity do that for me, without creating any controversy by asking me...
Anyhow, yes there is the rise of this force, I have seen it, felt it, been in its grip. This force has no physical origin so there is no manipulating, no redirecting, no hijacking, and certainly no parasitism available. In fact the only control available is via the forces within. We can get with the program, and flow with it. Yes, it is absolutely demanding to do so.
In terms of this current world, that which cannot bend with this force will break, nor will there be any repairing of it.
